Cantaloupe and Strawberry Popsicles

Ok, so it's not officially summer just yet but the weather in the Bay Area makes us think that its summer time. It has been blazing hot these past few days! If you know me, I am definitely not a hot weather kind of gal, I prefer rainy cloudy days. But these popsicles are the perfect cold sweet treat to keep you cool! 

The best thing about these popsicles is that they're as healthy as they are delicious, and healthy means you can easy as many of them as you like. Right? Whats better than a pretty looking popsicle!

These popsicles are so easy to make! You only need less than five, yes I said it, less than five ingredients! I'm sure that it won't come as a surprise that the first two ingredients are a cantaloupe and strawberries. Every single bite screams summer time, I am not kidding. These have been a hit at home right when I took these babies out the freezer. 

So what are you waiting for? Go make these popsicles & eat them! 

Cantaloupe and Strawberry Popsicles
  • 1 whole cantaloupe, diced. 
  • 6-8 Strawberries, sliced.
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of Evaporated milk 
  • Popsicle molder

  1.  Puree your cantaloup. There are a variety of tools for pureeing - blender, smoothie maker, or a food processor (to name a few). Add the cantaloupe and sugar (optional) to the machine and then puree. 
  2. Distribute the sliced strawberries in your popsicle molder and then pour your puree cantaloup  juice into the molder as well. 
  3. Add your popsicle sticks & freeze them for at least four hours. (The hardest part yet, waiting but well worth it!)
